How do I renew my Arizona insurance license?

If you want to appear in the Arizona insurance license lookup lists, you need to renew your license every four years. To renew your license you don’t need to take exams, you just need to complete 48 credit hours of continuing education. 6 of those hours must be in the subject of ethics. After completing your continuing education, you may apply for the Arizona Insurance License renewal within 90 days of your license expiration. You will need to pay $120 for the renewal application.

How do I get my Insurance License in Arizona?

Before you apply for your Arizona Insurance License, you should choose what type of insurance you are going to sell: Property & Casualty Insurance License – Car Insurance, Home Insurance, Business Insurance, etc. or Life & Health Insurance License – Life Insurance, Annuities, Health Insurance, etc.

Then, you will need to get prepared for your exam. Arizona doesn’t require you to take a certain amount of pre-license credits before you pass your exam. You can choose study online or attend to the offline classes.

After getting prepared you should register and take the insurance exam. You can schedule and register for your exam through this site. Both the Life, Accident, & Health exam and the Property & Casualty exam consist of 150 questions, and you have 2.5 hours to complete each exam. The examination fee depends on the exam you are taking and ranges from $44 to $56.

You will need to provide your fingerprints. This will allow to check your background. To obtain your fingerprints card you will need to pay $42.

After passing the exam, you may apply for your license and fill and submit the application through NIPR website. For the application you will need to pay $125.
